I love shooting landscapes from the car, especially as we drive through a variety of country environments.
Unfortunately, most of those shots -- taken usually at 55-65 MPH - are not that great. I love trying to rework them with textures and Topaz Impression. Which is exactly what I did with this photo:
Using a variety of textures from the Timeless Collection on top in various layer modes and opacities, I just kept adding them until I got the dramatic, moody look I was after for the art.
Timeless Texture Collection
The Timeless Texture Collection features 30 amazing textures, all with deep color tones from days gone by, along with a hint of rich vintage texture to give your subjects the feeling of a valued antique treasure. For wildlife, domestic animals, still life, people, landscapes, and more of your favorite subjects, these textures bring a unique aged look to your fine art!
Use these textures "as is" to add a painterly feel to your photographs by placing them on a layer under your subject and masking away the subject's original background. Using your transform tool in your software, you can stretch them and position them exactly where you need them for your art. You can also use these textures as overlay layers to enhance existing photos or to add unique color tones throughout your artistic images. These also make wonderful beginning backgrounds for your digital paintings!
This collection contains a total of 30 textures, all for one low price. Download is presented as THREE (3) large zip files. Textures are 6000x4000 pixels in size and are large size JPG files. Due to the large file size, the download may take several minutes to complete, depending on the speed of your internet connection.
