Whiskers and stray hair can be very frustrating when masking. In this video, I share how I work with whiskers and stray hair when masking around animals to reveal the background underneath. I'm specifically working in Topaz Photo FxLab. Below, I've posted the finished art so you can see the piece I was working with in the video once it was completed.

After I finished the masking to reveal the background, I duplicated the texture layer and placed it on top in a few different layer modes, masking away some of those layers to keep the light and focus on this beautiful kitty cat.
