Perfect Journey Background Collection
The Perfect Journey Background Collection features 1 painted scenic nature background in 10 color tones which you can easily blend with your subjects. The background can even be used as a portrait background, if you wish to give your subject a more interesting scene behind them. Mix the colors together by using masking and different layer modes to create your own unique color tones and looks for your art. For wildlife, domestic animals, people, and more of your favorite subjects, these will help you bring the focus onto your subject and go from snapshot to art in just a few minutes!
Use these textured backgrounds "as is" to add a painterly feel to your photographs by placing them on a layer under your subject and masking away the subject's original background. Using your transform tool in your software, you can stretch them and position them exactly where you need them for your art. You can also use these textures as overlay layers to enhance existing photos or to add unique color tones throughout your artistic images. These also make wonderful beginning backgrounds for your digital paintings!
This collection contains a total of 10 resources, all for one low price. Download is presented as ONE (1) large zip file. Textures are 6000x6000 pixels in size and are large size JPG files. Due to the large file size, the download may take several minutes to complete, depending on the speed of your internet connection.
I combined these two safari park photos together with the Perfect Journey background to create an artistic scene featuring all three. I started with the giraffe....I got rid of the blue in the sky behind him, making it gray, and then added one of the background colors on top in multiply mode. I masked it off the giraffe. Then I brought in the photo of the others, resized it down so I could place them in the background, and I masked away their original background to blend them with the new background. Finally, I added one of the warmer Perfect Journey backgrounds on top in soft light layer mode to warm the entire image up a bit.
