The When Nature Speaks Petite Texture Collection features 4 textures {2 vertical, 2 horizontal}, rich with a loose, impressionistic style, and filled with natural colors and spontaneous movement. For wildlife, domestic animals, people, and more of your favorite subjects, these are all painted in the same color palette so they work exceptionally well together, and can assist in creating a great series of work when using them alone.
Use these textures "as is" to add a painterly feel to your photographs by placing them on a layer under your subject and masking away the subject's original background. Using your transform tool in your software, you can stretch them and position them exactly where you need them for your art. You can also use these textures as overlay layers to enhance existing photos or to add unique color tones throughout your artistic images. These also make wonderful beginning backgrounds for your digital paintings!
This collection contains a total of 4 resources, all for one low price. Download is presented as ONE (1) large zip file. Textures are 6000x4000 pixels in size and are large size JPG files. Due to the large file size, the download may take several minutes to complete, depending on the speed of your internet connection.

When Dogwoods Bloom...
...created with the When Nature Speaks Petite Collection
My original dogwood flower photo was blended with 3 textures from this collection. One texture was placed under the flower layer, and parts of the flower layer were gently masked away to bring in the texture from underneath. Two additional textures from this petite collection were added on top in different layer modes and opacities to create the above result.
Then, I took the merged image from above even farther. The photo art was taken into Procreate on the iPad and the layer was duplicated. The duplicate layer was painted with a few palette knife brushes, while carefully leaving parts of the photo art layer underneath to show through. And finally, the finished painting had a texture from the Painted Portrait Collection added on top in overlay layer mode. By desaturating the overlay layer, and by reducing it's opacity, this allowed only the texture to show over the painted image with no color adjustments. After merging, however, I decided to take the image into Topaz restyle and apply a preset I liked in a low opacity to the overall image. Below is the result:
