Many of my customers who are playing around in Procreate have asked for my brushes. I have decided to give away my base brushes I work with to paint my photos. I'm not giving away my stamp brushes, but in post #3 of this series, I will show you how to make your own, which will help to make your resulting artwork uniquely YOU! :)
Below you will find a rough video where I show you what each of these brushes will do - as a painting brush and as a blending brush. The brush set can only be installed in Procreate versions 4.1 and above. Be sure you have the correct version before installing them.
Please do not redistribute these brushes - if you wish to share them with someone, please direct them to this post with the video where they can download them from here.
And if you're new here, please check out my textures and backgrounds. With every painting, I always start with blending my photo with them to get the photo "paint ready" before beginning in Procreate. They also make great beginning backgrounds for your "from scratch" paintings you wish to do. :) Be sure to sign up for the mailing list, too, so you can be notified of new additions to the website!
Installing the Brush Set:
Save the brush set file in your DROPBOX (or Files app): Transfer the file(s) ending in .brushset from your computer to your Dropbox folder. Tip: If you have a Mac (macOS 10.11 or higher), you can AirDrop the brush set directly from your Computer to your iPad. This transfers and installs the brush set all in one step!
Open dropbox (or Files app) - On your iPad, open the Dropbox app, then navigate to the folder where your brush set is saved. Tap on the brush set file, then click the small [...] icon and click Export. Click Open In... and tap Copy to Procreate.
Now, when you open Procreate, you'll see the brush set at the top of your brush library!

NEW in 2020!
In most of my videos, I use older software which I've used for years. Unfortunately, the software I use isn't being sold anymore.
Many of you have asked me to teach in Photoshop -- but I am just learning myself in that software.
In my learning, I have discovered the best Photoshop training on the planet, and I have secured a special offer on this same training JUST FOR YOU! Click the button below to learn from my same trainer, and to save a HUGE amount on this lifetime access course:
